What I did on this project
-
This project is a way for me to continue to deep into game engine development. After making a 3D renderer using OpenGL, I decided to go 2D (using SDL) with Djipi to focus really on designing the systems that make a real-time interactive application engine. For the moment, the engine has been used to make 3 games ; a pong clone, a breakout clone and a original game, Fireball Fiasco, made for a game jam. The source code of the engine and the games can be found on GitHub.

What I did on this project
-
This project is an opportunity for me to dive deeper into graphics programming and understand how game engines function at their core. It's my end-of-study project, which I plan to develop gradually over time. To keep the scope manageable, I'd like to to focus on a specific game genre, maybe CRPG. Currently, my main focus is on developing the renderer, so I can render a small scene. You can track the project's progress on the following GitHub link.

What I did on this project

For 3 months, on my free time, I did the programming and the game and level design. I used 3D assets I found on the Asset Store and I had a friend doing the musics and sounds. The game is fully playable with 3 levels and a complete menu/settings system.

What I did on this project

I started this as a personnal project to learn more about graphics programming. My goal was to create a simple 3D interactive simulator to learn the knowledge to begin my final year project, a simple game engine.

What I did on this project

On my free time, I did the programming and the game design. For the models, I used 3D assets I found on the Asset Store. At this point this is just a prototype I did to play with VR development. I may continue it in the future to make it fully playable.

This game is the winning submission of the Rewind JAM by INA and GameIn. On September 21, 2001, at 10:17 AM, a chemical explosion occurred at the AZF factory, located 3 kilometers from downtown Toulouse. In our game, you are immersed in the office of Jean-Marie, the factory's delivery manager, on the day of the tragic incident.

During this two-day Jam, I was part of the programming team. Along with two other people, I coded the systems and interactions to bring the game to life.

I like reading & writing and I like narrative games. Over the years I've made multiple interactive fictions, all in french, using Twine.

GDIST and GPT are absurd comedies set in the same universe and in the style of Boris Vian's books and H2G2 by Douglas Adams. Pulsation Céphalée is a dark post-apocalyptic story.
